Interior Architect

We are currently looking for an Interior Architect who is RIBA Part II qualified or recent Part III graduate to join our team and be responsible to design commercial interiors in London. You will have a proven background in commercial interior fit out with a leading architectural/design company and be capable of contributing to every aspect of a project.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Attend initial site meetings with client and senior management & visiting site to take briefs.
• Initiation and participation in progress meetings with the client and to include meeting minutes.
• Initiation and participation in design team meetings with consultant team and to include meeting minutes.
• Preparing design proposals for client presentations and preparation of associated detail drawings.
• Preparation of detailed specifications, schedules and detail drawings for tender.
• Comment and assist regarding tender reviews.
• Preparation of presentation boards - showing relevant samples and finishes.

• Development and implementation of design schemes, joinery, bathroom, kitchen designs.
• Co-ordination of designs with other consultants information and issue of drawings generally.
• Co-ordination and site visits, including monitoring work on site with sub-contractors.
• Conduct site inspections as required including snagging.
• Have a good general knowledge of planning and building regulation requirements.
• Be involved in all aspects of the project from concept design, feasibilities, planning through to client liaison and construction.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in AutoCAD. Sketch up
• Experience with Photoshop and Adobe CS.
• Excellent design skills and interior spatial planning
