Estimator/Surveyor commercial fit out

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to head up our Estimating/Surveying for commercial interiors. Any applicant will be expected to take ownership and responsibility for the preparation of all estimates as required and surveying on the projects undertaken by Delta. This includes all processes from pre-qualification stage through to submission of the tender offer right through to final account.

Requirements:

• Experience in single stage & two stage tenders.
• Experience in the preparation of, or commenting on third party cost plans.
• Ability to “take off” and produce Bills of Quantities.
• Ability to produce valuations and final accounts
• Have the capacity and confidence to attend client and professional team meetings and presentations.
• Have a sound technical knowledge of the construction process.
• Have knowledge of the JCT/D&B Works forms of contract.
• To be an effective communicator, both written and verbal.
• To be proficient in Microsoft excel, Word, project and power point.
• To be able to work to tight deadlines and deal with short tendering periods.
• To have a “can do” approach and react to client requests immediately.
• To have a proven track record in the commercial interiors industry with a professional qualification.
